General system overview
1. View image of system overview (Image 00)
To verify the system is a 2016 system version
1. The display looks like (Image 01-02-03-06-07)
2. Cameras look like (Image 08)
3. Controller should look like (Image 04-05) Note, Connector locations may change. The overall look of the controller is for identification.
Display shows "NO SIGNAL" "NO INPUT" or similar.
1. System is looking at the wrong input channel.
  1. Press the input button on the display (image 01 02 and 03 show the input button different versions of the display)
2. If problem persists contact Tech Support.
Display shows blue screen
1. System is looking at the wrong input channel.
  1. Press the input button on the display (image 01 and 02 show the input button different versions of the display)
2. If problem persists contact Tech Support.
Display does not turn on
1. Press the power button on the display, it may be shut off.
2. System may not have power or ground connection
  1. Locate the controller box. Verify there is a red or blue glow coming from the box (this validates the system us powered up).
    1. If not powered up check the fuse, the ground connection and the power connection to the vehicle
3. Verify the white 4 pin connection for the display is secure in the controller box. the plug for the display is seen in (image 04).
4. There is a connection in the display harness about 10 inches from the display. Make sure this round connector is seated properly.
5. If problem persists contact Tech Support.
Front camera does not display when door open
1. Does the text "FRONT DOOR OPEN" display on the screen?
  1. If yes.
    1. Locate the controller and swap the camera connections for the front and rear camera (image 04). This will eliminate an issue with the controller and determine if the camera and or harness could be a concern.
    2. Contact Tech Support for replacement parts
  2. If no
    1. If the vehicle is a caravan, ford transit, Pacifica or other passenger car based platform; the dome light must be in the normal operating position. The dome light triggers the door signal so it must turn on with doors open and shut off when doors closed.
    2. Locate the controller and trace the purple, pink or green wire coming from the 8 pin connector on the controller. (Image 03) depending on the vehicle this will be the trigger wire to activate the door signal. Verify this wire is not loose or disconnected.
    3. Contact Tech Support for replacement parts
Rear camera does not display when in reverse
1. Does the text "REVERSE ACTIVE" display on the screen?
  1. If yes.
    1. Locate the controller and swap the camera connections for the front and rear camera (image 04). This will eliminate an issue with the controller and determine if the camera and or harness could be a concern.
    2. Contact Tech Support for replacement parts
  2. If not
    1. Locate the controller and trace the blue wire coming from the 8 pin connector on the controller. (Image 04) depending on the vehicle this will be the trigger wire to activate the reverse signal. Verify this wire is not loose or disconnected, wire may run outside and under the vehicle.
    2. Contact Tech Support for replacement parts
Rear camera turns on when opening the back door of the vehicle
1. Follow the Campaign process HERE.
Display shows upside-down, flipped image, framing on display seems squished.
1. Press the Menu button until you get to the setting to rotate or flip the image. Use the other buttons to adjust up and down to toggle the view.

1. Reverse trigger (can NOT activate via back door opening, only reverse signal)
